Data we collect
We process the booking contact's name, email, phone number, company details, purchase and payment information, and details submitted in enquiries. For passengers, we collect first name, last name, date of birth and audio guide language.
Purpose and legal basis
We use data to respond to enquiries, enter into and fulfil contracts, organise trips, process payments and refunds, and comply with legal obligations. Passenger details are used when necessary to register trips on border waters. We send marketing emails only with separate consent.
Recipients of data
Payment data is processed by Montonio and its payment partners. Necessary data is shared with accounting, email and hosting service providers and, where necessary, the Estonian Police and Border Guard Board. We do not store bank card details on our website.
Retention and protection
Passenger names and dates of birth are encrypted in the database and deleted 60 days after the trip. Data required for accounting is retained for 7 years; other customer data is generally retained for 4 years. Data relating to disputes is retained until the dispute is resolved or the claim expires.
Your rights
You may request access to your data, correction of inaccurate data and, where provided by law, deletion, restriction of processing or data portability. You may withdraw consent. Complaints may be submitted to the Estonian Data Protection Inspectorate.
Website functionality
We use session cookies necessary for bookings and security. Your language preference is stored in your browser. Keep your personal management link private: it provides access to your booking and passenger details.
